Some little knits

The weather is finally starting to cool down. Yesterday we spent the day out in the back yard pulling out the garden, gathering brush, building a lean-to, playing with our new dogs (I'll post about them next), and getting to enjoy some knitted objects without feeling like I'm jumping the calender, pretending it's cooler than it is so that I can lose myself in knitted wonder.

With the cool breeze shivering the final lazy tomatoes, I took a break from my hopeful ariann to knit myself something to cover my ears (and the hair I'm trying to grow out again). It took less than 2 hours and I've yet to remove it's colorful happiness from my head. Love it.

I also weaved in the ends on my gentleman's shooting socks from knitting vintage socks. They are endlessly comfortable.
