Because I've got so much free-time just floating around (what with the mudding, sanding, painting, packing, spinning, teaching, kid-loving) I've decided to add another workshop to my schedule before I give maryland the big wave. Yep, we're leaving July 16th and I'm going to teach a baltimore art yarn spinning workshop on the 12th and 13th! I already have 4 or 5 people that wanna take it, so if you're one of 'em, let me know as I need to choose a venue that will suit. I've got 3 venues to choose from, one is lovely and can hold 3-5 people, one is awesome and can hold 5-6 people and one is fantastic and can hold up to 20 people! Whichever we go with it'll be in baltimore, 2 are in the Lauraville area, one is in Canton (downtownish).
Unlike my usual workshops, this one is going to be two days but you can either do one day or both days. Each day is $100.00 and that covers all materials except the base wool, which you'll need at least 8oz a day, a little short fiber (like merino) and a little medium/long fiber (like bfl, romney, colonial). If you don't have a good souce of wool we can do a pick and choose wool table for $20.00/day. However, if you wanna take both days, the fiber is included.
This past weekend I taught a rockstar worskshop at Springwater. It was sold out (though I think the room could have supported a few more people), super fun and Springwater was lovely and gracious and totally wonderful. By the end of the second day everyone was, happy, creatively tapped, and exhausted. Did I mention that the amazing Stephanie from Loop was there? If I'd known I'd have insisted she pay me in Batts, but she signed up before I could strike a fibery deal. Also, Miss Woolarina herself, and Carissa who is one amazing spinner and I'm sure y'all will be seeing her yarns around soon. There were other great spinners but I don't know their websites or Ravelry accounts. One, I'd like to mention brought the most lovely wheel I've ever spun on, a golding. Man, it was amazing. Here's the only picture I have that it happens to be in. Spinning on it was like whispering to the wheel with your mind exactly what you wanted it to do and then sitting back and watching the magic happen. Wow.
Okay, I'm off to mud, sand, paint, and pack, the move is in 6 weeks!
ps. my comments are somehow magically broken, you'll have to e-mail me if ya wanna chit or chat!

And from the upperstructure cab, the operator uses the same engine to reposition the carrier and operate the powerful telescoping and tilting Gradall boom that set the industry standard in construction equipment versatility. Also, operators of the new excavator have greater control over their carrier positioning speed using a two-speed switch in the upper cab.

"It's as realistic as the excavator simulation " and "This will really help productivity…" were just some of the many comments." Our diggers had a huge task associated with simulation of real time soil modelling, manipulation and ground engaging.
