fairies

Wow, y'all must think I'm one fertile chicken! Nope, there's no tiny human growing in my belly, not a single one. Not that we don't plan on another, we totally do. Look for that update towards fall, perhaps.

No, my news is less expansive and more, well...I'm wrapping up the in-person news today so I'll spill tonight or tomorrow.

For now, since y'all were so thrilled with the prospect of another little Boggs', I'll share a few pictures of the current fruits of my loins.

Last weekend was the Fairy festival, which LB has loved since the idea of it was put in his tiny thinker. He usually goes as a fairy, donning wings and sparkles, but keeping true to the surly sixes, he's decided to go as a wizened old wizard and Kitten (formerly know as Bill) went as the flitty little fairy.

The smallest of us enjoyed the fine dirt and grass, mostly ignoring the maypole dance and the welcoming of spring but absolutely embracing the idea. LB, in customary sweetness, dropped nuts onto each and every table in the fairy village while he hoped aloud that these tiny abodes weren't built by tricky humans to fool the pint sized crowd.

at the end of the day, SP was crowned cabbage queen and both kids were out before the lights were off, sleeping not 12 inches from each other but each in their own world.

Did you ever see the Kids in the Hall sketch with the guy with a cabbage for a head? "My father was a farmer. . . one night he came home drunk and tried to HARVEST MY HEAD!".

Seriously, though. When you posted these photos in flickr last week I thought the one with Little Bit putting food on the tiny table was the sweetest thing ever.

Oh, and I don't think I told you this one: a couple of weeks after we were at your place I dreamed about some magic deadly snakes that stayed alive if you chopped them in half and grew another head on the tail so both halves would try to bite you. Someone gave me some special dust to sprinkle on the cut ends of the two halves to kill them. And in my dream my first thought was, "oh, I'd better make sure that LB has some of this stuff for his mini-kit". Hah.

oh jacey,
I LOVE these posts with the kiddo pics. Fun to see a picture of Bill too! I was just talking about you all tonight... and what great people you are. I love the sleepy-time pictures. So sweet.
