Well, I like how my orange/pink/red yarn is knitting up -- the one I spun for the sweater, if you don't remember, head back a few entries, it's so lovely! But I'm not happy with the whole look of the sweater. It's got no punch, no spice. I've got about 10 inches of the body knit in the round, right up to where I suppose it's about time make some arms, however, I think I'm gonna rip it all the way back and start over.
I'm so happy with this yarn and it's my first substantial spinning project, I don't want to ruin it on a so-so sweater. I'm not sure what the new sweater will look like, but it won't be this --

Well, except now, looking at the pictures, it doesn't look so bad. heh. No, I will not be swayed, arippin' we will go.
Until I can figure it out, I'm going to cast on for the sweater vest (#11) in the Spring VK - I'm thinking chartruese and turquoise. It'll be my firts thing from a real pattern.
Also, I've finished a secret project prototype. I've made corrections and have begun the #2. In my naivety I hope to submit it to Knitty in the fall. I'm also knitting it for my mama for her day of birth -- shhhh.
